Year 7 Food Tech

This week in Year 7 Food Technology, students explored the history and influence of Chinese immigration to Australia. They learned about some of the reasons Chinese migrants came to Australia, including opportunities to work, seek a better life, and support their families.

To connect their learning with food, students prepared and presented Chinese Lemon Chicken. They developed their cooking skills while exploring how Chinese cuisine has influenced Australian food culture. It was a great opportunity for students to combine historical learning with practical food preparation, creativity and teamwork.

Primary Campaspe Athletics

On Monday, our Grade 5/6 students competed in the Campaspe Primary Athletics competition, with our Grade 3/4 students taking part in their competition on Tuesday.

Both days were fantastic, with students giving their very best and demonstrating great sportsmanship, determination and school spirit. It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, supporting one another and celebrating each other’s achievements.

A big congratulations to all of our students on their efforts — you should all be very proud of yourselves!

Father's Day Breakfast

What a wonderful morning we had celebrating the special fathers and significant male figures in our students’ lives at our Father’s Day Breakfast on Wednesday, 2nd September!

Our morning began with delicious breakfast wraps, enjoyed by students alongside their dads and special male figures. It was fantastic to see so many families come together and make the most of this special opportunity to connect and spend quality time together.

After breakfast, the fun continued with a paper plane throwing competition! Students and their special guests enjoyed plenty of laughs and friendly competition as they designed, folded and launched their paper planes across the stadium.

It was a wonderful morning filled with smiles, laughter and special moments shared between students and the important men in their lives. Thank you to all the fathers, grandfathers and significant male figures who joined us and helped make the morning such a memorable celebration.

We loved seeing our school community come together to celebrate Father’s Day and the wonderful men who play such an important role in the lives of our students.
