ANZAC Day March

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all students and families who participated in this year’s ANZAC Day March. It was wonderful to see so many students proudly wearing their school uniform and representing our community with such respect and pride on this important occasion.

A special thank you to our BEACON leaders, Jack and Georgia, and our School Captain, Charlotte, who represented us so thoughtfully while laying the wreath during the ceremony. Your leadership and composure were greatly appreciated.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Mrs Miller for once again creating a beautiful wreath. Your time and care help make this tribute especially meaningful.

Thank you again to everyone who took part in honouring this important day.

Year 8 Food Tech: Mexican Enchiladas

This week in Year 8 Food Technology, we learned about Mexican cuisine and explored how immigration has influenced food culture in Australia. As part of our practical work, we prepared and cooked enchiladas, applying our skills in food preparation and cooking techniques.

Secondary Badminton

Secondary students travelled to Kyabram Sports Stadium on Tuesday, 28th April to represent the school in the Campaspe Badminton Tournament. The school fielded five teams: Year 7 Girls, Year 7/8 Boys, Year 9/10 Girls, Year 9/10 Boys, and Year 11 Girls.

They competed against teams from Kyabram P-12 College, Nathalia, and Rushworth. Each round consisted of two doubles matches and four singles matches.

Our Year 9/10 Girls team performed exceptionally well, winning their competition and progressing to the next level in Bendigo on Monday, 18th May.

5/6 P.E. Lawn Bowls

Last Friday, the Year 5/6 PE class travelled to Echuca Bowls Club to practise their lawn bowls skills in preparation for the upcoming Primary Campaspe Bowls Tournament.

They were fortunate to have Barry and several of his teammates assist on the day, helping students learn the basics of the game and guiding them through a range of fun, skill-building activities.
