Bee Hotels

Our Year 7/8 students and agriculture elective students had the privilege of working alongside Clancy Lester from Bees and Blossoms to build their very own insect hotels.

Students learned about the important role insects play in our ecosystem and how creating small habitats like these can help support local pollinators and beneficial insects. A fantastic hands-on learning experience!

7-10 Orienteering P.E.

Our Years 7–10 students had a fantastic time getting active and thinking strategically when Orienteering Victoria visited our school as part of the Sporting Schools Grants program.

Students learned the fundamentals of orienteering, developing navigation, teamwork and problem-solving skills while exploring the school grounds. It was a great way to build confidence, stay active and connect with the outdoors as part of the PE program.

A big thank you to the instructor Joe for delivering such engaging and fun sessions!

2-6 Orienteering P.E.

Our primary students recently put their navigation skills to the test during an exciting orienteering lesson! Working in small teams, students learned how to read simple maps, follow clues, and navigate their way around the course. With plenty of problem-solving and teamwork along the way, they eagerly searched for checkpoints and celebrated each successful find. It was wonderful to see students building confidence, persistence, and spatial awareness while enjoying the outdoors. Well done to all our young explorers!
