Year 10 SACS
Last week the Year 10 students completed their first accelerated SAC for their Year 11 subject of Health and Human Development. Well done Year 10's!
P/1 Maths
Primary Drama
In term 1 Prep/1 and 2/3/4 have been learning drama in Performing Arts.
Prep/1 have been learning about using props in drama, in this lesson students were improvise their own characters using puppets and theatre stage.
2/3/4 have been learning about key elements of drama (voice, movement, conflict/tension) to create characters and settings then perform short scenes they have individually created.
It has been great to see the student’s progress in their performance based skills.
Year 8 Food Tech
This week, our Year 8 students learned about the influence of American fast food restaurants on Australian culture. They explored how the rise of global chains has shaped Australian lifestyles, tastes, and social experiences, and considered how menus and dining habits have evolved over time.
As part of this topic, students also took part in a hands-on activity where they prepared their own hamburgers. They chose their favourite toppings, experimented with flavour combinations, and reflected on how food can represent both cultural influence and personal expression.
We enjoyed seeing the students’ creativity and their thoughtful engagement with the topic.
New Toilet Block
We’re pleased to announce that the new toilet block at ACC Echuca is now complete. While it may seem like a simple upgrade, we recognise that clean, modern facilities play an important role in creating a comfortable and respectful learning environment.
Improving our infrastructure goes beyond buildings—it’s about supporting the wellbeing of our students and staff and enhancing their daily experience at school.
