This week in MyFaith, the Grade 2/3 class found out about 'God's Wonderful Surprise'. This is talking about Jesus' resurrection in the lead-up to Easter. The 'Wonderful Surprise' was when the women went to the tomb to visit Jesus' body. Instead they found the tomb wide open and Jesus' body wasn't there, but an angel was. The angel said to them "What are you doing here? This is a tomb and tombs are for dead people. Jesus isn't dead anymore. He is alive!"
The students celebrated Jesus being alive by decorating crowns and writing on them 'Jesus is alive!'
