Prep 100 Days of Schooling celebration in the Prep-1 classes.

The countdown has ended. We have been counting each day of school since we began school for the year. As we got closer we also started counting down.

Now it has arrived we celebrated the first 100 days of prep in many ways. We had a bit of fun, a bit of colouring, a bit of ceremony and a bit of party.

Students did activities through the day featuring 100 such as a 100 days exercise program with 10 exercises done 10 times each. It was in the afternoon that things really took off. We began the afternoon with making a 100 days crown while people took turns trying to guess how many shapes, counters or MnMs were in jars A, B and C - but only one jar had 100. Meanwhile we also decorated cookies to spell out 'ONE HUNDRED'. Then we had our ceremony which began with students sharing things that represent 100 such as a hand painting featuring 100 fingers. Students then received certificates for 100 days as well as other milestones achieved so far. We then headed outside to finish the day with a 100 cake and a party.

A huge congratulations to Laura Stone who has been selected to represent the Schools Sports Victoria Girls U12 Football Team! We took some photos of Laura and other students having a great time playing soccer on the oval last Friday.
